Bilal gave a talk about his scientific journey and the factors that seeded success.  His story highlighted his great mentors, the importance of mentorship, and responding positively to setbacks.

He is very fortunate and grateful for his journey, for all the folks past and present who have done excellent work in the lab, and can’t wait to see where it goes next…

Taylin Ware was a Simons Foundation Shenoy Undergraduate Research Fellow in Neuroscience (SURFiN) mentored by KC Jacobson, and presented her work at the Simons Foundation in NYC.  Great job Taylin and KC!

We had two lab members take part in Commencement this weekend.

On Friday, Joseph received his PhD (and all important hood, below), and on Saturday Esther received her MS.
