We are excited to be a mentor lab for Project ENGAGES and to have Sanyu Watson join us for her project.
Project ENGAGES is an amazing program for high school students in Atlanta, please read more about it here.
Big thanks to Manu Platt for getting us involved.

In a global effort with colleagues at University College London, UC San Diego, LMU Munich, and University of Zurich, we have published a paper in Neuron that describes a novel gamma oscillation in the mouse visual system.
This oscillation is transmitted to visual cortex from thalamus. We are now working to understand the role of this oscillation during visual behavior.
Our study (along with complementary work in the same issue) is previewed by Welle and Contreras.
